Job Summary:

State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)

  • Under the direct supervision of the charge nurse, the State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) performs basic nursing assistant duties.
  • Provides for the comfort, safety and hygiene of our residents.
  • The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) assists residents in maintaining levels of independence and promotes the best possible quality of life for those residents we serve.
  • Able to communicate in a kind and caring manor.
  • Ability to maintain resident dignity.
  • Provides resident with choices in their decision making process.
  • Works closely with the charge nurse to ensure excellence in care delivery.

Requirements : State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)

  • State tested certification required (STNA).
  • Motivated, Self-Starter with an outstanding work history.
  • Previous experience as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred but not required.

Job Summary:

Registered Nurse

  • Provide daily nursing care to residents.
  • Provide oversight and supervision to nursing assistants.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
  • Complete required daily documentation as required by local, state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Ability to react quickly and decisively in an emergency situation.
  • Ability to maintain resident dignity and privacy.
  • Competently perform basic nursing skills.

Requirements

  • Must possess an active RN license to practice in Ohio.
  • Must possess, at a minimum, a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Previous RN experience preferred but not required.
